Origin

We help you with selecting the right volume of your shipment by having a physical survey done of your shipment as the correct volume will provide you with the correct charges.Once the survey is completed we revert back toy o with the best possible charge to accommodate your budget with packing and without packing so that we can assist you in your move in the nominated budget that you have provided. Origin of your move is of utmost important as it determines your destination budget as well.

 

Destination

Our destination services include collecting the shipment at the port or airport of entry, customs clearance, short-term or long-term storage facility, transporting it to your residence or office, and unpacking your items.

Indian customs normally subject shipments to 100 percent inspection. Therefore, it is preferable to avoid this altogether or get the shipment cleared with minimum inspection. To influence this, some of the processes will be completed before the shipment arrives in India. Our excellent local knowledge on octroi, local taxes, customs duty evaluation, etc. and hard-earned operational inter-personal relationships with local personnel will save down time in clearance procedures resulting in savings of hotel expenses, demurrage / detention costs, etc. for our clients.

 

Moving and Relocating

Baltsy Atlantic Group Inc. has comprehensive knowledge and experience in handling all aspects of the logistics involved in an international move, to and from India and other overseas locations as well. We will assist you with pre-planning, and take care of scheduling, insurance arrangements, secure packing of sea or air shipments, transport and delivery at destination port, customs clearance, storage in air-conditioned warehouses (if required), delivery at final destination (i.e. your home or office), and unpacking of your belongings.

 

Effects Protection through Insurance
We also offer protection of your valuables during transit and storage through insurance. Protection of your shipment through insurance is strongly recommended, since, natural calamities, accidents, or other unforeseen circumstances may cause damage to your goods.

Although we take utmost care in handling and delivering your valuables, with international standards of packing and a diligent team of professional workers, inadvertent errors can still occur as the shipment goes through various stages of handling during transportation or storage. Hence, it is advisable to insure your goods before loading it for transportation.

In order to apply for insurance protection, the provided must be completed and mailed to us prior to removal of shipment from your apartment at origin so that the required insurance arrangements can be made by us.

 

Storage

We can also arrange for long-term or short-term storage facilities for your shipment, with the help of our network agents all over India. Your shipment will be safely stored in large, Aircon (climate-controlled) warehouses. These warehouses are well protected from rain and pests, and are adequately guarded by trained security personnel.

Storage facilities, if required, are covered under insurance and are charged separately.
